Homemade Pizza Dough
Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
Mix yeast, sugar, and warm water in a small bowl
Allow it to sit for 5 to 10 minutes until it foams up
Put flour and salt in a large bowl and mix them together
Add the olive oil and yeast mixture to the flour mix
Mix it together until a dough forms
For about 5 minutes, knead the dough on a floured surface until it is smooth and springy
To make the dough double in size, put it in a bowl that has been greased and cover it with a damp cloth
Let it rise for one to two hours
Set your oven to 475F 245C before you start cooking
Roll out the dough and cut it into pizza shapes of your choice
Make a thin crust out of each piece
Put the dough on a baking sheet or pizza stone and top it with your favorite things
After the oven is hot, bake it for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly
Take the pizza out of the oven, cut it up, and enjoy!
