Goat Curry in a Hurry
This Instant Pot goat curry is quick and tasty, and it's great for busy days when you want a hearty meal. The soft goat meat is mixed with fragrant spices to make a quick and tasty curry.
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs goat meat, cut into pieces
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes, pureed
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions:
Press "Saute" on the Instant Pot after turning it on
Add cumin seeds to hot oil
Once they start to pop, add the onions and cook them until they turn golden brown
Put in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for one to two minutes, until the raw smell goes away
Put in the goat meat pieces and brown them all over
Add the yogurt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt, and mix them all together
Turn off "Saute," put the lid back on the Instant Pot, and set it to "Pressure Cook" for 25 minutes
After you're done, let the pressure drop naturally for 10 minutes and then release the pressure by hand
Put the lid back on, add fresh cilantro, and serve hot with naan or rice
