Turmeric Paprika Cauliflower Rice



This vibrant and flavorful cauliflower rice dish is seasoned with turmeric and paprika, offering a delightful twist to a classic side. It's not only gluten-free but also packed with vitamins and antioxidants from the cauliflower and spices.

Ingredients:

  • 1 head cauliflower, grated into rice-like grains
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped vegetables such as bell peppers, carrots, or peas for extra flavor and color

Instructions:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat

Add grated cauliflower to the skillet and saut for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it begins to soften

Sprinkle turmeric, paprika, salt, and pepper over the cauliflower rice, and stir well to combine

Continue cooking for another 3-5 minutes, or until cauliflower is tender but still slightly firm

If adding chopped vegetables, toss them in and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until they are heated through

Remove from heat and serve hot as a delicious and nutritious gluten-free side dish or base for your favorite protein
